Part-time role- 

3 days p/week - 7.5 hours a Day (during business hours Mon-Fri), flexible.

Responsible for:

We are looking for an End-User Computing Support Engineer to help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our infrastructure. You will be part of a talented team of engineers that deliver mission-critical infrastructure and Desktop Support ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor desktop hardware and software
  • Relocation of hardware or replacement of faulty parts.
  • Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
  • Provide 2nd level support with the option to escalate to 3rd tier staff
  • Provide on-site help to 3rd level team with any infrastructure-related work
  • Involvement in BAU projects and work effectively to targets and deadlines
  • Maintain a strong client/internal customer focus
  • Strive to resolve client problems and queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Liaise with IT Managers/Supervisors regarding potential problems across the business
  • Ensure a safe, healthy and sustainable workplace for all employees and contractors, report workplace hazards, and provide a safe and positive workplace
  • Complete all necessary training requirements and professional development opportunities

Core Competencies:

Systems Processes & Policy 

  • Ensure all policies & procedures are adhered to, including compliance obligations
  • Ensure key function policies are in place & are current
  • Drive & implement operational excellence in function / line of business
  • Ensure compliance within function / line of business

Essential Experience/Exposure:

  • SCCM/Active Directory/G-suite Administration
  • End-User Operating Systems (Win 10)
  • ITIL
  • Ability to document systems and changes
  • Ability to handle multiple requests at one time
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Familiar with Desktop hardware and network troubleshooting
  • Exceptional communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in an IT or related field
  • ITIL Certification
  • Substantial experience within a similar role 

P.S: It's a part-time role 3 days per week (7.5 hours a day) @ our office in North Sydney
