Our goals include achieving 50% of electricity generation from renewable sources and a 20% reduction in energy consumption (GJ) per tonne of saleable product by 2030.THE OPPORTUNITYCSR is excited to announce that we are currently seeking an Energy Analyst to join our team based in North Ryde. This newly created position will report to our Energy Manager and focus on the continuous improvement and efficiency of our back-office processes, systems, and analysis for energy market interactions and stakeholders.If you are passionate about energy and looking to join a dynamic team that values innovation and collaboration, this may be the opportunity for you.About the role: Support the energy management function with a focus on covering daily market related activities with specific cut-off times, interacting with external suppliers, raising purchase orders, internal invoicing, and analysis of existing and potential expenses and supply, and operational interactions related to CSR's participation in AEMO's national electricity grid and wholesale gas hubs.Validate and reconcile supplier invoices to facilitate timely payment processing, including initial SAP procedures and collaboration with Accounts Payable team to facilitate payments upon approval of purchase orders.Perform data analysis and modelling to contribute to the annual and long-term budgeting process, communicating with site managers from different departments and utilizing appropriate administrative tools.Prepare regular reports on position and costs for the Energy Manager and Finance Committee, ensuring accuracy and clarity of information.Administer the internal billing process and ensure that energy invoicing procedures are accurately undertaken such that all incurred costs are accurately and equitably allocated to individual sites.About you: Relevant experience in energy industry environment and functional areasAdvanced Excel skills, and desire to extend these skills.Tertiary level qualifications in a relevant area (preferred).Database skills an advantage.Attention to detail and willingness to improve status quo.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Service and outcome focused.WHAT'S ON OFFERAccess to CSR's amazing employee benefits & discounts.Work with an established team that is friendly and supportive!Training and career progression provided.If this sounds like the next step in your career and you want to be part of an organisation that fosters a friendly work environment, whilst providing you with personal and career development - then apply now!At CSR, we are committed to creating a supportive and engaging environment that recognises and rewards its people, enabling them to grow their career and truly thrive.
