Our team is passionate and dedicated, working on a wide array of topics impacting retailers, with a current focus on sustainability initiatives.
The role
We are currently looking for an Engagement Officer to expand our Queensland team. In this role you will travel to several shopping centres, malls or other retail precincts each day, educating retailers in-store about new laws, offering advice, and gathering feedback and insights.

Most of your work will be based in South East Queensland with a few short regional trips. Your schedule is typically Monday to Friday within normal business hours though some flexibility may be available, such as working within school hours if needed. Some admin work can be done from home.
The role is initially project-based and must be available to work between 3 and 5 days per week consistently. Candidates who excel may be offered permanent work and interstate travel across other projects.
What your week will look like
• Face-to-face engagement with retailers in precincts and shopping centres;
• Relay information, key messages and advice to retail business owners in a positive, adaptive way;
• Gather and relay insights; and
• General record-keeping and administrative duties.
Your skills and experience
• Own reliable car and licence essential.
• Based close to Brisbane CBD with availability for regional trips (expenses paid).
• Must have experience engaging face-to-face with customers or businesses.
• A high level of customer service and communication skills.
• Positive and energetic attitude with strong work ethic and self-management skills.
• Basic fitness required as your day will involve walking through shopping centres and precincts.
