In this role, you'll:
We currently have two exciting opportunities for an Asset Engineer Electrical to join our Asset Management Team within Sydney Trains.
This role will see you oversee and coordinate the discipline specific asset management plans for the assigned districts, incorporating major periodic maintenance (MPM), capital works, external party works and routine maintenance (RM), to ensure the safe, reliable and cost effective maintenance of the asset while achieving on time running and reliability objectives.
The role will be based in our Granville Office but will require site visits across the Sydney Trains Network. Both are full time permanent positions.

About you
You will have Tertiary Qualifications in a related engineering field or rail maintenance management, and experience in asset management or rail related electrical maintenance field.
You will also have working knowledge in Electrical Power.
You will have demonstrated experience and understanding of asset management, configuration management and project management in a large scale rail infrastructure and operations environment.
Proven planning, analytical, and problem solving skills, and the ability to apply them in the development of large scale medium to long term asset maintenance and capital works programs and solutions
High level of communication and interpersonal skills and proven ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation and with external stakeholders is also key to this great opportunity.
