You will work closely with our specialist team of Civil Engineers, Designers and Drafters to assist in the design and delivery of various Land Development projects across QLD. Being mentored by industry experts, this role is suitable for Civil graduates with 2-3years domestic engineering experience.Key Responsibilities

• Completing the Civil design and drafting of various Land Development projects - subdivisions, earthworks, roads and driveways, pavements, carparks, stormwater and drainage etc.
• Utilising relevant Civil software including AutoCAD, Civil 12D, MUSIC, DRAINS and HEC-RAS
• Ensuring that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and SMEC
• Assisting and producing engineering reports
• Proactively collaborating with team members, contributors and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness and co-ordination of project deliverables

About You

• Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or similar
• 2-3 years domestic Civil engineering experience, (undergraduate engineers within their last semester at university may also be considered)
• Knowledge of basic Civil software - AutoCAD, MUSIC, DRAINS or HEC-RAS
• Must have strong understanding of relevant Australian codes and standards
• Excellent communication skills
