About the Role
As an experienced Electronics Engineer at VETRON, you will play a crucial role in designing a range of electronic products for diverse applications in various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use electronic design automation (EDA) software tools to design hardware solutions, including high speed signal design
- PCB schematic capture and board layout design
- Design for manufacture, collaborating with industrial design
- Interface with the contract manufacturer for prototype and production builds
- Collaborate with the team to develop and test prototypes of new products
- Prototype support firmware development
- Develop and execute testing procedures to guarantee product reliability
- Diagnose & solve electronic system issues through effective troubleshooting & debugging techniques
- Experience soldering to support prototyping and diagnostic testing
- Continuous improvement efforts, aiming for process and technological enhancements
- Documentation and reporting duties for maintaining transparency and compliance
- Familiarity with Atlassian project management tools – Jira & Confluence
About You
The ideal candidate for this role would bring:
- Professional qualifications in Electronics Engineering and Electrical Design
- Proficient in electronic circuit & PCB design tools. Familiarity with Altium desirable
- Proven experience in electronic product design and development
- Ability to provide technically accurate designs
- Experience with embedded firmware development desirable
- Knowledge of microprocessors, microcontrollers, and embedded systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex electronic systems
- Strong understanding of analogue and digital electronics principles
- Experience with compliance testing and certification processes for electronic products
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
