As an EL 1 Engineer, your key duties may include: Provide engineering leadership, with a record of delivering complex technical and engineering outcomes.
Lead an operational or project team and will be accountable for the outcomes of the teams work and the appropriate use of resources to produce and achieve outcomes.
Deliver a program of acquisition and sustainment engineering and technical activities that are not only relating to complex systems, but are critical for the Australian Defence Force working closely with Industry Partners.
Responsible for exercising assigned engineering authorities and relevant Technical Regulatory Authority delegations.Implement deep engineering and technical management knowledge to deliver advancements to engineering principles, techniques, methods and regulations within the Defence environment.
Communicate, engage, and maintain stakeholder networks.As part of this selection process a Merit Pool of highly suitable candidates will be established to fill similar vacancies that may arise over the next 18 months.
