The role:
Opportunity for an Engineering Delivery Manager to join our team based in Garden Island defence precinct. You will be responsible and accountable for leading and managing the Project Engineering team within the RMP-E at Contract. This includes: supportability, configuration and data management functions.
Your objective will be to provide direct support and liaison between the Regional Maintenance Provider – East (RMP-E), Asset Class Enterprise (ACE), supply support and maintenance organisations and personnel conducting the physical maintenance on the Product Being Supported (PBS).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Project Engineering team for RMP-E Contract, including supportability, configuration, and data management functions.
Directly support and liaise with Regional Maintenance Provider – East (RMP-E) Asset Class Enterprise (ACE), supply support, and maintenance organizations.
Lead a multi-discipline engineering team, ensuring contract compliance and delivery of work packs.
Act as a technical interface, providing engineering advice and support for operation and maintenance of products and systems.
Manage technical and configuration data, ensuring alignment with project requirements and standards.
How about you?
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Management.
Project Management certification highly regarded.
Proven experience in customer-facing project engineering and leading high-performance teams.
Expertise in change management, technical innovations, and business improvements.
Desirable experience in shipbuilding, repair, maintenance, and Navy ship systems.
Strong communication, negotiation, and customer focus.
