Our client, a highly respected Yackandandah based Engineering organisation who specialises in Rural, Residential and Commercial Engineering using only the latest materials and techniques is now offering an opportunity for a hard-working, self-motivated, and most importantly, passionate individual to commence an Apprenticeship in Engineering Fabrication.
The Role
The successful candidate will be trained up in all aspects of Engineering including:
- Mig and Tig welding
- Trained to read and interpret technical designs and drawings
- Educated to perform fabrication and assembly of components
- Follow company procedures
- Develop technical skills to produce metal structures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
This is a fantastic career-start opportunity to become trade qualified. As an Apprentice, you will receive both on and off the job training working towards Certificate III Engineering Fabrication which will see you employed directly by Kestrel by up to four years.

Requirements
- A genuine interest in Welding Fabrication
- Sound hand skills and physically fit
- 100% commitment to undertaking this 4 year apprenticeship
- Reliable, honest and can work in a team environment
- Ability to learn and follow detailed instructions
- Good communication skills
