Engineering Manager

About the Role:

The Engineering Startup Manager role will be split over two functions. Fulfilling the interim Project Managers role during the transition from Tender to Project Mobilisation and ongoing Project and Tendering Support as Engineering Management and Project Governance. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively participate in bids in accordance with tender requirements. 
• Prepare and support delivery of accurate reports on relevant project progress.  
• Ensure all elements of project/ tender risk is covered and tracked across commercial, quality, safety, financial, scope.
• Perform full reviews of IFC drawings and alignment sheets to ensure all engineering elements have been included.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within projects and teams. 
• Ensure all work is planned to the specifications, standards and highest efficiency. 
• Provide Engineering support and leadership during the design / procurement stage.
• Develop and update engineering procedures outlining the method of working, progressing and reporting principles.
• Provide leadership, direction, supervision, and management to all leadership team members.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a leadership role within an engineering team.
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of engineering processes and best practices.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Passion for innovation and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
