Engineering Manager Queensland - Control Systems – Water/Wastewater

About our client:

Our client is a leading provider of innovative, national automation engineering solutions in the water and wastewater industry. With a commitment to sustainability and leading-edge technology in service delivery, they are seeking a Brisbane-based Engineering Manager to lead their Queensland team.
 
Key responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of Control Systems Engineers and Technicians to deliver mainly medium sized and large water and wastewater projects
• Oversee project design, implementation, commissioning and maintenance
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, sector standards and industry regulations
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team and clients
• Meet with clients to understand their needs and build and maintain strong client relationships
• Implement and enforce quality assurance and quality control processes
• Conduct regular reviews and audits to uphold company and team standards
• Encourage innovation within the team to increase project efficiency and effectiveness
• Join the senior Leadership Group which decides the future direction of the business

 
Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering or equivalent
• Proven experience in a people leadership role within Control Systems engineering
• Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery on time and within budget
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Proven success in leading and mentoring a team of Engineers
