Key responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Control Systems Engineers and Technicians to deliver mainly medium sized and large water and wastewater projects
- Oversee project design, implementation, commissioning and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, sector standards and industry regulations
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team and clients
- Meet with clients to understand their needs and build and maintain strong client relationships
- Implement and enforce quality assurance and quality control processes
- Conduct regular reviews and audits to uphold company and team standards
- Encourage innovation within the team to increase project efficiency and effectiveness
- Join the senior Leadership Group which decides the future direction of the business
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience in a people leadership role within Control Systems engineering
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery on time and within budget
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Proven success in leading and mentoring a team of Engineers
