Ryde Hospital is having an incredible $479 million complete hospital redevelopment that will transform the delivery of healthcare for the Ryde local community.
The Ryde Hospital Redevelopment will result in new health facilities and enhanced services including emergency, ICU/critical care, inpatient units, outpatient/ambulatory care services and much more.
Construction commenced in early 2023, and will provide you with a wonderful and exciting opportunity to be part of the Ryde team to change the future health services for the Ryde Community completely.
What you'll be doing
The overall purpose of this position is to ensure that buildings, equipment, infrastructure and grounds at NSLHD are well maintained, safe and fully functional.
More specifically, the Engineering Manager is responsible for providing high quality preventative and reactive maintenance services.
The person is this role also takes the lead to plan and deliver minor capital projects, and provides a crucial support role in larger capital projects across the campus.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- A relevant engineering or trade qualification and current licence. Experience in maintenance operations in a supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a service providing planned and reactive maintenance in a complex environment, including experience working with Building Management Systems.
- Experience in planning and implementing minor renovation or capital works projects.
