Engineering Mechanical Apprenticeship

What you'll be doing…

You will complete a Certificate III Engineering Mechanicalover 4 years through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist maintenance supervisor and mechanical maintenance technician in routine preventative maintenance activities, including machine servicing and inspection.
• Support repairs and light fabrication tasks to ensure the efficient operation of machinery and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness in the workshop and job sites to promote a safe and organized working environment.
• Participate actively in daily toolbox meetings and job safety analyses to identify and address potential hazards.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following selection criteria:

• Ability to work in a team environment;
• Commitment to full term of the apprenticeship and study requirements;
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills and knowledge;
• Demonstrated interest/passion in the trade;
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work at heights
• Strong mechanical aptitude;
• A current driver’s licence (provisional licence accepted);
• NSW Police Check or willingness to obtain
