Engineering Surveyor

We are seeking an Engineering Surveyor to integrate into our team. The role is Perth-based, primarily FIFO projects with occasional metro work. At Xcel, we hold employee satisfaction in the highest regard and have highly attractive hourly rates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare for assigned jobs. Document review, calculations and data input and output.
- Ensure that equipment under control is fully functional for each job.
- Carry out assigned jobs and record relevant data. Establish survey control, set out and liaise with clients regarding work progress.
- Undertake post-survey processing as required. Asbuilts, drafting and reports.
- Maintain level of professional competence as a qualified surveyor.
Essential Criteria:
- Tertiary Qualification in Surveying or relevant discipline
- A minimum of 2 years of highly relevant work experience
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Experience with Leica Robotic Total Stations and GNSS.
Desired Criteria:
- Magnet & AutoCAD experience.
- Global mapper & Agisoft experience.
- DJI Drone experience & Remote pilot licence RePL
- 3D laser scanning experience.
- A broad range of engineering surveying skills
- Open to FIFO and Metro work.
