Meriden is an Anglican school with a Christian foundation. Many of the staff live out their Christian faith in their lives and are active members of a local church. Meriden is an independent girl’s school, located in Sydney’s inner-west, and each year ranks among the top schools in the HSC and other academic measures. We are looking to appoint a qualified, experienced and passionate English teacher to join our collegial and dynamic department. The successful applicant will possess a deep understanding of current English syllabus documents and pedagogical strategies. They will be driven by an innate passion for literature and love for the subject.

This is a permanent full-time position to commence as soon as possible, or as negotiated.
This position reports to the Head of Department – English, and ultimately the Principal.
