The Enterprise Network Modernisation Program (ENMP) will deliver updates to operational (mission-critical) and corporate networks that will ensure existing systems remain connected to deliver safe, efficient, and effective Air Navigation and Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting services; as well as enabling future enhancements to support future requirements for CMATS, Remote Service Delivery and the Flexible Use of Airspace.As ENMP Training Manager, working with the implementation partners, Business Change Managers and other organisation and Program team members, you will use your extensive experience to develop and deliver a sound training strategy for a multifaceted and interdependent transformational change that will see people ready and equipped for the change to do their job from day one.You will play a key role in ensuring adoption, resistant management and readiness is managed. To do this, you will lead and identify training and knowledge requirements and needs, work with others to develop an integrated training plan and curriculum and oversee training development and delivery. You will ensure that the training and knowledge transfer is executed successfully. You will work with relevant business areas to ensure that the training is successfully and thoroughly handed over to ensure long and sustainable change.Ideally, you will be comfortable with and have demonstratable experience leading training and knowledge transfer in an enabling services improvement environment in a culturally and geographically (Australia) diverse organisation. You will be comfortable leading the training effort across a portfolio of work and happy to roll their sleeves up and contribute as required.The Training Manager will focus on supporting Program Managers and the Program Change and Implementation Leads by providing advice and guidance around training requirements, as well as providing quality assurance and alignment across the portfolio.You will be comfortable with change management and training frameworks and have proven experience overseeing, analysing, and evaluating training programs simultaneously with the ability to identify risks and leverage opportunities that may present.You will have at least 7+ years’ experience in training leaders across large geographically dispersed organisations and you will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.ENMP Training Manager responsibilities:
- Provide technical and strategic advice to Program Managers in the context of adult education and training within the Client’s frameworks.
- Develop, lead, and deliver training strategies to set the Organisation and Program/Project up for success, and that are aligned with the Client’s culture.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with operational training areas and subject matter experts to influence within the value chain.
- Work collaboratively with training, communications, and human factors colleagues to ensure that people are fully aware and equipped to transition to the new way of working with minimal disruption and a reasonable degree of comfort.
- Maintain an effective working relationship with the Program team to ensure that there is coordination of training activities in support of the Program’s objectives.
- Work closely with the Business Change Manager and business-as-usual teams to effectively embed training and to ensure the change is sustained and benefits are realised.
- Handing over training materials, roles and curriculums to ensure the change is well-embedded and sustained.
- Function as a facilitator and/or coach for problem solving and resolving training issues.
- Actively promote and drive change using broad influencing skills to overcome barriers and gain support.
- Critically assess the training and knowledge transfer requirements for each impacted business unit/team.
- Deliver and apply a plan for training and knowledge transfer including principles, techniques, and tools.
- Think outside the box and challenge the status quo to get better outcomes.
- Must hold TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
- Planning and Project management capability.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft – ppt, excel, word.
- Understanding and experience in how to apply training frameworks in agile, waterfall and hybrid settings.
- Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels within an organization, with service partners, and other third parties.
- Competent and experienced in using human centred design considerations when designing and delivering change.
