What's on offer?
Fixed Term Temporary Part-time up to two (2) years, 72 hours per fortnight. Please note, the work location for this position is Charters Towers.
Pro rata remuneration package based on full-time equivalent value of up to $83,993 p.a., comprising salary range of $34.88 - $37.01 p.h. (Nurse Grade 3), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

About the role
The Enrolled Nurse is an associate to the Registered Nurse to provide patient/client centred nursing care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and in accordance with the Practice Standards as identified by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board.
Skills and experience
- Ability to contribute to assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of person centred nursing care under the delegation of the registered nurse/midwife.
- Ability to work as an effective member within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with the multidisciplinary team, patients and their families.
- Ability to demonstrate own ongoing professional development.
Role requirements
- Diploma of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory. Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
- Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which may include participation in an on-call roster.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
Highly Desirable
Evidence of completion of modules related to medication administration and peripheral intravenous therapy.
