About the role
The Enrolled Nurse works under the direction of the Registered Nurse and is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment.
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, the Enrolled Nurse works within a team of dedicated staff who provide support, encouragement, and foster safe clinical practice within the Theatre department at St Vincent's.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the delivery of a patient centred model of care within a safe environment.
Perform the function of an Enrolled Nurse Medication Endorsed within scope of practise.
Demonstrate competent and safe practise when administering medications including nursing duties.
What you bring
AHPRA Registration with a current practising certificate
Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others with a can-do attitude, in a mission based organisation
