Job DescriptionAs a Patient Care Specialist - EN, your role will focus on the administrative side of our team and will also see you act as a point of contact between patients and doctors, responding to inquiries and escalating where required. This requires you to provide non-judgemental, patient-centric care with a focus on an excellent patient experience, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Your duties will include:
- Auditing
- General administrative tasks which support the day-to-day function of the clinic.
- Ongoing quality improvement projects within the team.
- Providing follow-up support to patients requiring clinical advice in the implementation of their treatment plan under the supervision of a Registered Nurse when required.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive medical records and up-to-date patient contact information.
- Contribute to and foster a positive team culture with a focus on teamwork, shared ideas, and constructive communication.
We are seeking applications from experienced ENs eager to be part of the dynamic medical cannabis sector. You must enjoy focusing on the administration component of the role and be able to work productively in an autonomous environment as well as collaboratively within your team as needed.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3-4 years EN experience, with current AHPRA Registration & nil restrictions.
- Admin background and happy to work in an admin-focused role.
- Ability to maintain accurate patient records with regard to legal and clinical documentation requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Robust IT skills
- The ability to troubleshoot and solve systems issues as well as use multiple computer systems
- Experience with medical cannabis treatments will be advantageous, however, it is not a requirement, full training will be provided.
Computer Literacy Testing:
Please note that shortlisted applicants will be required to complete a basic computer literacy test before being considered for an interview. As we are a remote workplace technical abilities form an important part of the job role.
