Nurse Next Door is a certified Great Places to Work. We are looking to build our care team with a range of experienced Enrolled or Registered Nurses who are wanting to provide real continuity of care (i.e. regular clients) and are looking to work around 15-20 hours per week or more.

About the Role
Making Lives Better® and Happier Ageing® is at the heart of what we do — enabling members of our ageing and disabled community to live a fulfilling life at home as long as possible, doing what they love to do.
We provide around-the-clock care, so visits may be scheduled morning, afternoon, evening, and/ or overnight to meet our client's needs.
Responsibilities
Depending on the specific needs of your clients, you will be required to apply your knowledge, clinical judgement and/ or practical experience in a variety of areas including but not necessarily limited to:
- Catheter Care (e.g. IDC, SPC)
- Wound Care and Management
- Bowel Care and/ or Continence Management
- Medication Management
- Respiratory Care
- Diabetes Management
- Spinal Care Management
Additionally, you will:
- Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised;
- Deliver care in accordance with the client's care plan that has been developed by a senior member of the clinical team (i.e. always a Registered Nurse);
- Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly;
- Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly;
- Conduct Nursing Assessments (e.g. general health, wound care, continence and/or product needs).
Other Skills & Experience
- Passionate about making a difference;
- Community nursing will be a significant advantage;
- Subacute and disability experience;
- Ability to identify and report client care concerns to management as needed;
- Ability to redirect or deescalate behaviours;

Mandatory Requirements
- A self-led leader with the ability to take responsibility for your own behaviour & success;
- Coachable, open to learning from others and receptive to feedback;
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Registered or Enrolled Nurse
- CPR & First Aid Certification
- Car & Valid Drivers Licence
- National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector)
- Working With Children Check (e.g. QLD ‘Blue Card’)
- NDIS Worker Screener clearance (e.g. QLD ‘Yellow Card’)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
