This role involves setting architectural standards, roadmaps, and methodologies. The architect will also manage architecture risks and mentor other architects to ensure alignment with strategic goals.Key Responsibilities
- Architecture Development: Develop and oversee Enterprise Architectures for Phase 2, including cloud and network services, ensuring alignment with organisational standards.
- Strategy and Roadmaps: Create and maintain business applications and technology portfolios, defining strategies and roadmaps for IT projects. Simplify technical debt and consolidate technology portfolios.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, aligning strategies to business needs. Collaborate with various teams on large projects.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report on project delivery, adjusting activities as needed to meet goals.
- Tool Management: Maintain Enterprise Architecture artifacts in tools like System Architect, SPARX Enterprise Architect, ARIS, Nintex, iServer, etc.
- 15+ years in IT, with 10+ years as an Enterprise Architect.
- 10+ years defining applications, integrations, infrastructure, cloud, and network architectures.
- TOGAF Knowledge: Knowledge of TOGAF (certification preferred).
- Technology Roadmaps: Experience creating technology roadmaps for major IT projects, simplifying technical debt and portfolios.
- Corporate Knowledge: Understand strategic business plans and project portfolios. Identify opportunities to integrate emerging technologies.
- Technology Management: Experience in managing applications, infrastructure, and network services, including integrations and migrations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, visualization skills, and decision-making abilities.
- Teamwork and Influence: Ability to work across all levels of the organization and influence stakeholders effectively.
