Job Description Summary:
What you need to know about the role
• A 12 month contract opportunity which is an end-to-end Enterprise 'go getter" sales role, which is very much client facing and predominantly Australian focused.
• This role focuses around PayPal's Enterprise payments platform, which goes way beyond just our traditional yellow payment buttons with solutions extending across all payment types and includes tools to manage fraud, buy-now-pay-later, payouts and loyalty

• PayPal's Enterprise sales team is a small tightknit bunch of successful sales and relationship individuals. Whilst our payment solutions cover pretty much every commercial industry this role sits within the traditional Retail and Travel verticals. Albeit we're always on the lookout to crack new industries and support large enterprise businesses extend their payment and customer capabilities
• To be successful in role you'd want to know and manage a broad range of other internal stakeholder groups including compliance, finance, account management, risk etc. These teams are located across local and global PayPal offices.

Your way to impact

  • Demonstrate your ability to engage, influence and deliver merchant value at c-suite level, in addition to numerous business stakeholder groups as you progress and close new and expanding relationships.
  • Become an expert in our Enterprise payments platform and find matching benefits to Enterprise sized merchants.
  • Demonstrate your ability to identify and engage new prospects at Enterprise size businesses.
  • Manage a traditional sales pipeline from end-to-end. We use 'salesforce.com' to track, report and implement our sales and so your experience with this tool would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrate fluency in payments that is broad

Your day-to-day

In your day-to-day role you will:

  • Identify, engage and manage approximately 30 Enterprise sales opportunities at anyone time
  • Daily engagement with Enterprise business contacts as you build out knowledge of your target merchants' business and demonstrate significant value from our Enterprise suite of products.
  • Prospecting for new business
  • Complete commercial negotiations both internally and externally to deliver against your revenue performance goals
  • You will be required to build and nurture influential partnerships with key stakeholders in the business. Act as a conduit between finance, risk, customer success, compliance etc
  • Share and learn your successes and failures with your fellow teammates. Whilst everyone has an individual sales target our team has proven we work better as a team and success is multiplied.

What do you need to bring:

  • Proven track record of end-to-end Enterprise sales - leveraging customer stakeholder engagements at all levels
  • Experience in payments is highly desirable
  • Knowledge and experience in prospecting and converting prospect businesses into actual deals
  • Ability to own and manage your pipeline - sale pipeline hygiene is critical
  • You want to thrive in a sales targeted environment that has challenging targets yet carries an uncapped earnings potential
  • Ability to complete domestic travel to meet your clients
