About the Role
We are seeking a Entry Level Warehouse assistant to join our team. We are looking for a Fit, Eager and Attentive person to grow in our team and who is hard working, takes pride in their work, good communication skills and is reliable.
Please note, this is a physical role requiring manual labour including lifting, carrying and picking and packing of orders.
The right candidate will be able to work:
Full Time Monday to Friday (no weekends)
Mon – Thurs: 8am – 4.30pm and Fri: 8am – 2.30pm
Immediate start.
Skills & Experience
- No previous experience necessary, however a willingness to learn is essential.
- Full training in our procedures and systems will be provided.
- Current and valid Driver’s License with own reliable car.
- Be physically fit and have the ability to lift up to 20kg.
- Keen attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and problem solve when necessary.
- Self-motivated and pro-active with a can-do team-orientated attitude.
- Reliable and friendly
Tasks & Responsibilities
Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in daily duties including:
- Picking and Packing of goods for processing and dispatch.
- Checking stock with a high level of accuracy.
- Quality inspection of goods, reporting any damages of stock.
- Stacking of goods on pallets
- Unpacking containers
- Preparing paperwork for delivery drivers.
- Housekeeping and general upkeep of warehouse, bins, etc.
