The Role & The Team:

You will provide advice and support to on-ground operations and on-ground change (projects) regarding Environmental System Management (EMS) requirements to ensure appropriate risk management and compliance with obligations. This will include subject matter expertise relating to the management of environmental issues and occurrences (incidents).

The Environmental Advisor will provide technical input on environmental matters to reduce our pollution risk and ensure conformance with EMS requirements. You will be responsible to develop, maintain and ensure effective implementation of site based environmental and heritage management plans.

You will form an integral part of the Environmental Operations team and be required to collaborate with other team members to deliver on our overall strategic objectives and ensure continuous improvement.

People enjoy working in our dynamic and collaborative team because of the sense of purpose and ability to shape our organisational future and to leave a positive legacy. You will be surrounded by a supportive and encouraging group within the Environment & Sustainability business, including a wider network of teams across the value chain who work towards common goals beyond mere compliance.
