Environmental Consultants - 2 Positions to Fill
Full-time or Part-time
We currently have two opportunities in our Approvals and Planning team for experienced and passionate Environmental Approvals Consultants, for placements within a Tier 1 mining company. This is an opportunity to work in a high-performing team environment that delivers innovative, effective environmental and sustainable outcomes. You will learn the fundamentals of working with a large mining company with the support of a multi-disciplinary and capable team. These roles will allow the successful candidates to thrive and learn in a dynamic environment, whilst making valuable contributions to the organisation.
Do you have?
- Between 6 and 12 years of broad environmental experience, including experience in some of the following: EIA, Works Approvals, and Environmental Management and Asset Closure in any of Mining, Oil & Gas and/or Infrastructure markets.
- Experience or willingness to quickly learn project management in a supportive environment.
- Sound technical writing and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders to achieve solutions.
- Ability to grasp new concepts quickly, be adaptable, and contribute individually and within a team environment to the success of a project.
- Degree qualified in the area of environmental science or related field.
- Full legal working rights within Australia and C Class Licence.
There will also be opportunities to broaden your skill set by being involved in collaborative team projects across CDM Smith.
