Are you seeking to use your tertiary qualification to better the environment? We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic environmental scientist, environmental engineer or candidate with a background in another related physical science to join our Environmental Reporting Services (ERS) team. This position is based in our Knoxfield office, but can be based in our Bibra Lake (Perth WA) office, reporting to the Environmental Reporting Services Manager. We are looking for a highly motivated team player with sound technical skills and a customer service mindset.

• Perform daily data verification checks on a wide range of monitoring instruments and monitoring locations. 
• Report erroneous data to field staff promptly and effectively.
• Follow up on reported problems for assigned stations to ensure issues have been satisfactorily resolved in a timely manner.
• Apply your knowledge of monitoring techniques, metrology and environmental regulation to conduct data validation for air quality, noise and water monitoring sites
• Prepare client reports summarising environmental performance.
• Maintain system documentation up to date and accurate.
• Actively maintain contact with customers to ensure clients' expectations are being met.
• Ensure customer requests are responded to quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain an up-to-date contact list for all current clients.

• Qualifications in environmental science, engineering, physical science or related field.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Experience of data manipulation and statistical analysis.
• Strong organisational, problem solving and continuous improvement focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interpret technical information.
• Experience working with air monitoring instruments.
• Knowledge of environmental regulation, compliance monitoring and reporting.
• Customer service mindset.
• Experience managing multiple priorities to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience working in a highly regulated environment (NATA, ISO17025, AS/NZS9001) would be advantageous.
