The Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated Environmental/ Safety/ Administration advisor to join our team, based on the Vulcan South Intersection Project near Dysart in Central Queensland.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensure the project adheres to the EMP and WHSMP.
This is a fantastic opportunity to get exposure to all aspects of environmental and safety monitoring and compliance for a civil construction project.

Responsibilities
- Conducting daily safety and environmental monitoring in accordance with the EMP and WHSMP;
- Investigation and technical report preparation;
- Conduct daily site inspections for WHS, waste management, erosion and sediment control structures;
- Assist in inspections for vegetation clearance permits, provide spotter and catcher services;
- Conduct Environmental Risk management assessments to identify potential risks and assist in the development of plans to control these risks.
About the Candidate:
To be considered for this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Natural Resources Science or equivalent;
- Class C driver’s license;
- Knowledge of relevant Qld Environmental and WHS legislation
- Ability to work outside water monitoring or inside with data entry or report writing;
- Ability to work FIFO or DIDO

An attractive remuneration package will be on offer for the preferred candidate, and local housing provided while on roster.
