AddressVeolia ANZ is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to work and be based in our Nudgee 4014 and Willawong 4110 facilities. As the Health and Safety Advisor, you will be the driving force behind maintaining a culture of safety excellence.
Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections, audits, incident investigations, and training programs to ensure our teams operate safely and compliantly. You will work closely with site personnel, our client, Health and Safety representatives, and union delegates, guiding them through risk assessments and safe operating procedures and fostering a proactive safety culture.

- Conduct inspections, audits, and incident investigations to identify and mitigate risks
- Deliver safety training and communications to site personnel
- Develop and maintain site-specific Health and Safety management plans and procedures
- Monitor compliance with company, client, and legislative requirements
- Facilitate the implementation of safety improvement actions
- Foster a collaborative relationship with Health and Safety Representatives and union delegates and client.
- Provide safety leadership and support to operational teams
- Championing Veolia's safety first and continuous improvement culture.
- Formal qualifications in WHS, Environment and/or Sustainability, preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
