We have partnered with a local organisation in the Brisbane bayside region. This organisation promotes a people-centric culture and works hard to provide opportunities to give back to the local community. Due to an employee movement, a 12-month contract position has become available for a Safety and Governance Advisor to join their tight-knit team.
Your new role
In this role, some key responsibilities will include:
Working in collaboration within the team and with a wide range of employees regarding Health & Safety consultation
Providing technical advice around the health, wellbeing and safety management system
Providing high level advice around safety systems and practises
Participate in the reporting and investigations of incidents
Management and continuous development of the health, wellbeing and safety management system
What you'll need to succeed
Key skills and qualifications required to be considered for this role include:
Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety - Diploma level and above
Practical experience working at a Coordinator or Advisory level within a Health and Safety role across complex workforces
The ability to engage, consultant and influence within the Health & Safety space
Expert stakeholder engagement skills
