About the Role
The Environmental Services Department is responsible for providing many and varied services to all areas of the health service. Whilst ensuring compliance to the Victorian Government’s hospital cleaning standards and supporting a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and staff. Our Environmental Services Assistants are responsible for the provision of:
- A clean and safe environment for patients, staff and visitors to CGH
- A high standard in quality of care and service throughout CGH facilities
Duties
- Housekeeping & bed making
- Cleaning & sanitising
- Waste removal including general and clinical
- Linen collection
- Patient transport & transfer
About You
- Minimum Certificate III in Cleaning Operations or other relevant qualification and/or preparedness to undertake appropriate training
- Previous work experience in a similar job role and function
