AddressNorthern Beaches Hospital, Frenchs Forest invites applications from competent and experienced Supervisors to join our team. You will make an impact by leading and motivating your staff to deliver great service in the Guest Services department. We are looking for 3x full time staff to fill three supervisory roles. Please ensure you advise us of your preference upon interview: AM or PM.

Northern Beaches Hospital is a 490 bed facility operated by Healthscope. Treating both private and public in and outpatients, NBH provides acute medical, surgical and mental health care to Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Located on the Northern Beaches, the hospital is extremely well-situated and its management supports and encourages staff to achieve work-life balance, while actively supporting their professional development.
Central to the Supervisor role is:
- Ensure a high level of service is provided and maintained
- Follow all procedures relating to each role
- Plan and allocate workload to staff
- Ensure staff provide excellent customer service, employ safe work practices and manual handling techniques as well as identifying and reporting hazards
- Coordinate daily operational activities and preparation of task lists and work schedules
- Motivate, support and train staff
- Provide hands on service
- Hospital equipment
- Preventative maintenance scheduling and accountability
- Stakeholder relationships including third party and suppliers
- Maintaining cleanliness of equipment to meet infection control requirements and maintained and keeping work area clean and tidy always
- Mortuary operations
HOURS: Each role will work 76 hours/fortnight and are required the below availability:
AM Supervisor: Monday to Sunday availability between 6am and 2pm
PM Supervisor: Monday to Sunday availability between 1pm and 9pm
As an experienced Supervisor with a passion for developing talent within the team, you will also possess the following skills and attributes:
- Previous supervisory experience within the healthcare or hospitality industry
- Knowledge of National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards & EQuIPNational, Work Health and Safety, Infection Prevention and Control standards, Waste management
- Proven experience developing high performing teams with a service excellence approach
- Passionate about building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Competent computer skills
