Equipment Nurse Theatre – Operating Theatre
The Perioperative services team is looking for dedicated, experienced, caring and highly motivated Registered nurses to join the Leadership Perioperative Team on a Full Time basis. The Division of Peri Operative and Critical Care Services is responsible for the provision of both elective and emergency surgical procedures with an emphasis on increasing the number of patients admitted on the day of surgery and as day cases. You must be available on a 7 day rotating roster.
To be successful for this position you must
- Successful completion of a Bachelor of Nursing qualification or equivalent
- Registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia (AHPRA)
- Minimum of three year’s full-time or equivalent experience as a Registered Nurse
Must have recent experience in an Operating Suite with Scrub / Scout or Anaesthetic / PACU experience - Experience in ordering and equipment management
- Possess excellent clinical skills
- Effective organisational skills, with respect to time management and delegation
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary health care team
- Demonstrated evidence of undertaking professional development activities to maintain and enhance
Full time position available 76 hours at each site. Footscray, Joan Kirner and Sunshine theatres.
