SalaryThis role reports to the ICU Nurse Unit Manager and is responsible for ensuring equipment and resources within the ICU meet required standards, in accordance with relevant legislation.
This role is responsible for:
- Financial efficiencies and accountability
- Education and training aligned with best evidenced based practice
- Equipment and consumable trials and quality improvement activities
- Equipment, patient and staff safety and risk stratification
- Policies, procedures and clinical guidelines development and reviews
- Post Graduate Qualification in Critical Care with 3 years Post Graduate Clinical Experience in the Intensive Care Environment
- High level communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to engage with consumers, clinical and executive staff and external providers
- An in-depth knowledge and understanding of clinical equipment in the intensive care environment
- Ability to work both in a proactive self-directed manner as well as collaboratively as part of a team.

Werribee Mercy Hospital is a General Public Hospital located in the rapidly growing Western suburbs of Melbourne.
