As an Employee Relations Manager, you'll be instrumental in driving Employee Relations initiatives. This role encompasses a wide array of responsibilities, ranging from negotiating enterprise agreements and ensuring compliance to implementing policies, conducting workplace investigations, and managing disciplinary procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Relations Strategy: Develop and implement an employee relations strategy across existing and new APAC markets, including managing business expansion, regulatory compliance, and team management.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a subject matter expert, working with internal and external stakeholders to achieve best practice employee relations solutions, including workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and proactive learning and development.
- Case and Process Management: Manage performance issues, misconduct, workplace complaints, and enterprise bargaining processes, providing end-to-end case management and advice, and handling workplace litigation and compensation matters.
- Risk Mitigation and Compliance: Ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate business risks by staying abreast of legal requirements in APAC markets, supporting regulatory and union relationships, and completing administrative and reporting tasks.
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Employee Relations, Human Resources, or Law.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the fast-paced retail industry or law firm
- Legislation Knowledge: Have a comprehensive understanding of relevant industrial laws
- Organizational Skills: Exhibit strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Communication Skills: Showcase excellent communication and negotiation skills, both internally and externally.
