Job description

  • 3 year contract + 2 x 12 month extensions

Our federal government client has been embarking on the largest ERP Transformation in the southern hemisphere.

As part of the next Tranche of work, they are seeking a Capability Planning Coordinator who already comes with SAP ERP planning related experience in a complex ICT transformational program.

You will have project management, scheduling and implementation methodologies experience to support the assessment and artefact preparation of Future Releases within Tranche 3. You will be a great communicator with supplier and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work in and manage a small team, to think laterally and take the initiative to drive activities to completion.

As the Capability Planning Coordinator, you will work across the ERP Program Releases, with the following responsibilities:

  • Support the Enabling Services Planning Team in Future Tranches development and relevant planning artefacts and governance required to deliver proposed capability outcomes.
  • Leverage ERP and SAP project management experience – working as part of a team to ensure schedule and quality targets are met and overall outcomes are achieved by supporting the transfer of future Tranche planning activities to the ERP Delivery Team ensuring alignment with optimal outcomes adoption of ERP implementation best practices.
  • Provide ERP SAP project management understanding and input into the evaluation of industry proposals and selection of Release Delivery Partners, supporting and aligning stakeholders with realistic and achievable expectations.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience we are specifically seeking include:

  • Demonstrated experience in ICT ERP SAP transformation and initial planning/assessment skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in project and schedule management and documentation development demonstrating an understanding of SAP Best Practice implementation methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in ICT ERP SAP transformation and proven team leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated communication and negotiation skills, including engagement and conflict management with the ability to think laterally and take the initiative to drive activities to completion.
