About the Role
Service Stream’s Corporate division is seeking a ESB Fuse Developer to join our growing company. Reporting to the Technical Lead your main role is responsible in establishing, maintaining and developing the assigned application within the Target Enterprise Architecture.
Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Melbourne, VIC
Reporting Line: Technical Lead
Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivering quality application change across various platforms through analysis, planning, creation and execution of system and user acceptance test cases and compliance of procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve technical and user identified issues or defects with predefined solutions
• Document technical requirements and detailed functional specifications on behalf of the business to drive change and implement cost savings. This may include analysing and defining user requirements, business processes and procedures and map new or existing process flows.
• Carry out the necessary build activity based on the right choice of technology/ application with an ability to develop and implement bug-free code
• Manage the process for systems enhancements and changes with internal and external parties or vendors.
• Identify potential business impacts and recommend / implement changes with least disruption.
• Co-ordinate all changes to systems within the areas of responsibility such that these are managed as releases (rather than ad-hoc changes). Follow change management processes for system updates, releases and patches.
• Identify opportunities for implementing technology solutions to deliver business benefits.
• Identifying existing business processes, including improvement opportunities and compliance & audit requirements.
• Encourage dissemination of the assigned application knowledge and skills within the team.
• Provide technical handover documentation to Service Desk and the Support team during deployment and initial production release of new / changed system components or enhancements.
• Assume the role of application evangelist to further promote the functions and features of the assigned application
• Maintain the application by ensuring all upgrades and patches are applied in a timely manner
• Work well under pressure to provide timely and accurate solutions to business opportunities and challenges.
• Maintain proactive relationship with the internal business & technology stakeholders.
• Ability to work in high performing Agile environment

About you:

• Expertise in JBOSS FUSE ESB is a must have requirement
• Working knowledge in Boomi Integrations is an added advantage
• Programming knowledge in Java is highly essential
• Sound knowledge in Camel working on EIP Integrations
• Excellent and in-depth knowledge on ActiveMQ in specific
• Working experience in AWS and Jenkins Deployment Pipeline
• Source control management such as Git
• Experiencing in designing large scale complex systems with both new and legacy frameworks
• A drive to learn new skills and understand how systems work.
• Ability to thrive in an environment often presenting new challenges.
• Ability to manage workload and identify priorities for best outcomes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including process documentation
• Work with the other team members in a collaborative manner
• Ability to work in high performing Agile environment
• Functional knowledge of Telco or Utilities domain is an advantage
• Tertiary Qualifications in Information technology is desired but not necessary
• Technical certifications are preferred
