Esperance Outside School Hours Care (EOSHC) is a community based, not for profit Outside School Hours childcare service, with 30 places for After School and Vacation Care. The centre is located at 1 George Street, Esperance WA .

Passion and skills offer enriching experiences for children in our care. We are looking for a suitable person or people in job share arrangement, who can bring this enthusiasm to our service and who are available to start as soon as possible.
Whilst the role is a fulltime one we will seriously consider hiring two suitable candidates in part-time roles to share the responsibilities and provide backup to one another in running the service.

Key responsibilities and duties:
Nurture a positive and child safe environment
Develop and maintain a fun and compliant program under the National Quality Framework and ECRU directions.
Build meaningful relationships with children, families, local schools and wider community
Lead a diverse team
Work in collaboration with management and Escare Inc Team Leader
Hold Nominated Supervisor and Responsible Person title
Hours :
After School Care : School Term-Monday to Friday 2.30pm-6.00pm
Vacation Care : School Holidays-variable shifts 8.30am and 5.30pm
Off floor hours within Flexi time work place policy
Skills and experience:
Completed Certificate IV or above in a childcare related course
First Aid Certificate HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an education and care setting (or willing to obtain)
An understanding of the My Time, Our Place - Framework for School Age Care
Formal qualification in childcare such as Certificate iV or above or equivalent (ACECQA approved)
Experience of working in child care or school setting
Experience working with Microsoft Office software
Experience with XPLOR Childcare Management software will be an advantage
Requirements:
WA Working with children check
Current WA Drivers Licence
Police Clearance
