What you'll do:
As a Customer Service Officer, your primary role will be to serve as the face of our client's business. You will handle inbound member and employer enquiries, ensuring that each interaction aligns with the company's values and brand promise. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include responding professionally to enquiries, developing rapport with members, solving problems efficiently, and referring members to advisors or planners when necessary. You will also work collaboratively within a team environment and adapt flexibly to changes.
- Ensure optimum levels of service by responding professionally to enquiries, developing rapport with members, and taking necessary action to solve problems within agreed service levels
- Guarantee effective follow-up to ensure member enquiries are resolved effectively
- Promote customer retention and satisfaction by identifying member needs, undertaking problem-solving and analysis to provide appropriate resolution to their enquiry
- Refer members to either a Superannuation Advisor or Financial Planner when appropriate
- Work collaboratively within a team environment
- Adapt flexibly to changes
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Customer Service Officer position brings along proven experience in a Customer Service or contact centre environment. They possess exceptional Customer Service skills and has knowledge of the superannuation or financial services industry. They are capable of working collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Flexibility, adaptability to change, and intermediate computer literacy are also essential for this role.
- Proven experience in a Customer Service or contact centre environment
- Exceptional Customer Service skills
- RG146 Qualification (highly desirable)
- Knowledge and experience in the superannuation or financial services industry (desired)
- Ability to work collaboratively and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
