Morton Power Services (MPS) is a locally owned and operated business. We are a rapidly growing business dedicated to delivering underground electricity distribution design and construction services in the Urban Residential, Commercial and Industrial Development market.
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Distribution Estimator / ProjectOfficer
About the Role
- Compile quantities and prepare estimates for new “Option 2” electrical projects
- Identify electrical distribution plan changes and prepare revised estimates/variations
- Order long lead time materials as required
- Co-ordinate project requirements with the Constructions Team and all Internal Stakeholders
- Co-ordinate with all External Stakeholders (eg Clients, Suppliers, Design Houses, Powercor etc) to achieve successful outcomes
Knowledge and Experience Required
- Ability to read and interpret electrical distribution plans
- Ability to use initiative, commonsense and accept ownership to achieve successful project outcomes
- Ability to work to a high level of accuracy and detail
- Extensive industry knowledge and experience in the delivery of “Option 2” Projects.
- Experience in design, project management or construction (particularly in the Powercor Distribution Area) would be an advantage
Qualifications
- Tertiary or Trade Qualification in an electrical Discipline
- Current valid Construction Industry Card (white card)
- Current valid driver's licence
- Proficient computer skills (eg Microsoft Office applications)
