AddressThe role
- Estimating and tendering projects to $10M.
- Coordinate estimate preparation, calculate/prepare quantities and compile proposals.
- Establish and maintain business development.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Review tender documents assessing the scope, risks and tender complexity.
- Conduct site inspections for understanding, analysis of conditions and assessment of risk if necessary.
- Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- 3-5 years of experience in the Structural Steel industry.
- The ability to produce Building Cost Estimates/Tender submissions with a high degree of accuracy and success.
- Results-orientated and able to work autonomously and within a team environment.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and Estimating Software (e.g. Strumis).
- Ability to estimate from first principles.
