Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales team, collect accurate quote from sub-contractor/supplier and provide estimation of project cost
- Complete full cycle management to existing projects, include but not limited to following duties
- Arrange and confirm project schedule
- Order material, check and make sure ordered material with correct delivery and cost-effective way
- Book equipment, check and make sure suitable equipment onsite in time
- Coordinate and maintain strong relationships with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, consultants and internal department, to ensure seamless project delivery
- Manage contractual claims and variations
- Assist in project cost reporting, forecasting, customer payment
- Perform project cost assessments and monitor project budgets to ensure financial controls are in place
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
About You
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Proven experience estimating a variety of commercial and domestic construction projects
- Thorough knowledge of building regulations and codes of practice
- Completed a Tertiary education in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil drawings and relevant tender documents
- Ability to interact with clients, contractors, staffs and related parties
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and great attention to detail
- Advanced computer literacy including Microsoft suite of programs including Project, Excel, Outlook etc
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Proven time management skills
- Current Driver's licence for site inspections
- Eligibility to work in Australia
