Estimators - Planners - Programmers

• Analyse project specifications and blueprints to understand the scope of work.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, equipment, and other expenses.
• Obtain quotes and bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Evaluate and compare quotes to determine the most cost-effective options.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements.
• Create detailed cost breakdowns and proposals for clients.
• Update cost databases and track project expenses throughout the life cycle of the project.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings.
• Participate in bid presentations and negotiations with clients.
• Stay updated with industry trends, pricing, and regulations related to construction or the specific field of estimation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry or relevant field.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of estimating software and tools, such as Bluebeam, Procore, or PlanSwift.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills for accurate cost calculations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for interacting with stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented approach to reviewing project requirements and identifying cost factors.
• Time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to construction estimation.
