About the Role
As an End User Computing Support Engineer based in our global headquarters in Adelaide, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of our Information Systems Team, working with our customers, technology, with endless opportunities to shape your career and make your mark within Santos. Accountabilities are delivered in line with the Santos company values and Santos Management System (SMS). Key responsibilities of the role include:
Provide customers with timely resolutions to computing services through phone, chat and face to face channels, in line with the Information Systems and Santos strategies.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technology solutions.
Stay up to date with the latest developments in end-user technology.
Enable customer self-service through informed improvements, creation of tools, resources and automation, in consultation with the End User Computing Lead.
Identify and remediate customer experience blockers and drive cost-efficiencies, in consultation with the End User Computing Lead.
Prioritise the resolution of incidents and critical escalations in a timely and efficient manner, communicating effectively with customers through the process.
Prepare and share quarterly AV reports with internal stakeholders and IS Leadership team on deliverables, performance, and upcoming opportunities
About You
To be successful in the role you, we are seeking for professionals with the following skills and experience:
An experienced all-rounder EUC Support Engineer with background in AV and a previous face-to-face support experience. Enjoy delivering timely resolutions, coupled with an enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service.
Substantial experience demonstrated in a Technology Senior Support role.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Motivated and enthusiastic about continuous knowledge and skill expansion.
Capable of working independently and thriving under pressure.
A collaborative team player.
Strong understanding of end-user technology
Thorough understanding of technology risks.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence.
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
Adaptable to a fast-paced work environment.
Develops and maintains current technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
Ideally, you have project management experience and holds a degree qualification or equivalent tertiary qualification, and/or minimum of 3 years related IT industry experience.
Your strategic view, collaborative nature, and ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders will aid in your success in this role.
