We are looking for an enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join our highly supportive team and be part of our growth.
About the Role
The Event Coordinator will be responsible for delivering upon a marketing and event strategy with a focus on growing our audience and awareness of our brand. Working in collaboration with our in-house marketing team, you will be creating engaging content for our social media platforms, managing our online community, and organising events in line with the company’s marketing and event strategy.
You will bring creative flair, new ideas and your exceptional communication and coordination skills to take our marketing events to the next level, while adhering to brand guidelines and direction from the Head of Marketing and senior management.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage all activities relating to the organisation of marketing events for Hejaz.
- Participate in the marketing and communication activities relating to Hejaz marketing campaigns and events through assisting with planning, the development of advertising materials, and the creation and distribution of the event information.
- Manage and foster relationships with sponsors, partner organisations and guests and other stakeholders.
- Manage and arrange all logistical arrangements for the event.
- Event hosting including greeting/welcoming delegates and introducing speakers
- Manage registrations including, creating event pages on website, tracking registrations and payment.
- Maintain registration data records and providing regular event reports
- Work with the team to help ensure high quality events and smooth execution of projects by planning, reviewing, organising, and providing feedback on event organisation.
- Provide operational support during external events.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or other related field
- 1+ years’ experience as an Event Coordinator for both large and small scale events
- Experience in digital marketing and producing digital content for social media channels highly regarded
- Ability to think innovatively, strategically, and creatively to produce and deliver highly engaging events
- Ability to communicate ideas and concepts clearly to relevant stakeholders
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and willingness to travel where required
