Full Time
- $75K+ Base salary (pending experience) + Super + OTE
- OTE – to be paid out once account have been reconciled July/August 2024
- 6 Month probation
- Reporting to the General Manager.

WHO we are looking for
You have a degree in getting things done and your attention to detail is second to none. You bring everyone together so seamlessly that people think your job is easy, but you’ve been there and done that so many times, that you can see a problem before it happens or know how to elevate any event at the perfect moment. Holding a client’s hand and managing completing priorities at the same time is to you, like a duck is to water.
You take what has been agreed, combining all those pre-event elements, and passing it to the operations team in a box with a job number, beverage package, runsheet, floor plan and a bow attached.
You respect process and are diligent in your cross communication with clients, suppliers, and all stakeholders prior to their event.
Strong customer service and communication skills are important in this position, as is the ability to work well under pressure. It's important to be able to meet deadlines, what was agreed and ensure that the event is set up for success and as what was contracted.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the Sales and Operations teams
- Helping clients facilitate their events at The Timber Yard at the highest level of excellence whilst building strong relationships
- Coordinating all client’s events and collating all documentation for the operations and venue team to deliver
- Ensuring that you see how to always see the 1% -ers and elevate a client's experience every day
- Meeting with clients and managing site inspections
- Cross checking and ensuring all documentation matches what was agreed and contracted
- Managing expectations of client’s requests, whilst finding solutions to their requests
- Creating feasible deliveries and deadlines
- Foreseeing upcoming events and understanding how to navigate your clients to work together to deliver a smooth handover
- Prioritising workload weighing up scale of event VS delivery date
- Understanding customisation of events and their event life cycle
- Upselling of additional items post Sales handover to help achieve department KPI
- Reading through run sheets and understanding the flow of an event
- Reading a floor plan and being able to recommend / suggest alternative solutions if necessary
About You:
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following attributes:
- Previous experience was in an Event Agency and OR Large-scale event venue.
- You have client and account coordination experience.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
- Lived and breathed events for 3-5 years
- Rise to the occasion every time
- Meticulous time management, coordination, and documentation skills
- You bring your A game and energy to the office every day.
- Able to stay calm under pressure and find solutions to any problem.
