The Role:
Due to recent changes they are currently seeking a self-motivated, highly organised and detail orientated candidate to become an integral part of their team in this newly created role. Reporting to the Events Manager you will be responsible for supporting her to ensure events all are successfully delivered. It is imperative that you develop and maintain key relationships with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of each event.
The Duties:
Some of your actual duties will include.
- Assist in the managing the entire events calendar and scheduling.
- Coordinate logistics of various events and liaise with stakeholders.
- Ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in creating event briefs including all event requirements (catering, AV etc)
- Assist with marketing and promotional material for various events.
- Assist in reporting on the success of events.
- Coordinate the event booking system.
- Other duties as required.
- Strong proven experience in a similar position with strong experience in managing event timelines and requirements.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to plan, create and report on events.
- Excellent organisational skills, coupled with the ability to meet key deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and action opportunities and leads.
