  • Maintain effective relationships with the Minister's office, Director-General's office and the offices of other senior leaders in the public and private sectors
  • Manage workflows throughout the branch in line with priorities set by the Assistant Director-General
  • Manage the diary and commitments of the Assistant Director-General and ensure they are appropriately briefed for attendance and representation in any forums

  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Ability to foster positive working relationships with team members and senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding of government and administrative processes, policies and procedures.
  • Experience in coordination or management of workflows and ability to design or enhance existing workflows
  • Sound written skills and ability to develop advice and briefings for senior executives
  • Ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and understanding of complex and changing policy environments.
  • Ability to operate in an agile environment and support multiple competing program priorities.
