- Maintain effective relationships with the Minister's office, Director-General's office and the offices of other senior leaders in the public and private sectors
- Manage workflows throughout the branch in line with priorities set by the Assistant Director-General
- Manage the diary and commitments of the Assistant Director-General and ensure they are appropriately briefed for attendance and representation in any forums
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Ability to foster positive working relationships with team members and senior stakeholders.
- Understanding of government and administrative processes, policies and procedures.
- Experience in coordination or management of workflows and ability to design or enhance existing workflows
- Sound written skills and ability to develop advice and briefings for senior executives
- Ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and understanding of complex and changing policy environments.
- Ability to operate in an agile environment and support multiple competing program priorities.
