To be an ‘artisan’ is very much about setting your own path driven by a human desire to explore, experiment and to express ourselves. To create and share things shaped in our mind and made by our own hands for the enjoyment of others. Often proffered with a simple “I made this, please enjoy”. A tinge of pride, yes, but hubris never.
A little bit more? We use tech to help, support and simplify our jobs. You’ll know what we’re talking about if you’re familiar with systems like Kounta, Vend, Lightspeed, NowBookIt, Rezdy and similar programs. If you’re more pencil and paper, never fear; they’re easy to learn.
We also use these tools to improve the customer journey for our guests, automated confirmations and reminders by email and SMS, post-visit surveys and Friends of Artisans – a loyalty programme for our bricks and mortar and online shopping.
We believe in the power of human interaction, with weekly operations meetings and everyone working on-site. Supporting this, we chat via Slack and onboard and roster via Deputy. By the power of Xero, you'll be paid fortnightly into your bank account and choose your preferred superannuation provider.
Thanks for reading through to the bottom! We look forward to receiving your application and will be in touch. 🙂
