Our client is a full-service, strategic corporate event management agency- specialising in both events and content. They work across multiple industries, with a focus on healthcare and IT in the Asia Pacific region.
They have deep, long-standing relationships with their clients, helping them develop event brands that communicate their identity. Our client is experiencing significant growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Event Coordinator looking to take the next step in their career, or a junior level Event Manager looking for further experience and career growth. We are recruiting based on mindset, cultural fit, and demonstrated logistical and administrative experience with agency or in-house corporate event management. Group travel skills are highly desirable. Mindset relates to being inquisitive, critical thinking, and ability to multitask.
The role:
You will be working across a variety of live events, incorporating a high level of delegate comms, technical delivery, design/creative, venue/environment, registration/travel/accommodation logistics, speaker management and content.
- Reporting to Event Managers, Account Manager and Operations Manager, you will manage and execute a variety of small- medium sized meetings, advisory boards, and speaker tours in virtual, hybrid and live event formats
- Under direction of account manager, manage elements of large Symposiums and Product Launches
- You will develop Critical Path
- Build registration sites using EventsAIR
- Manage delegate management and communication (High-level of customer service required)
- Travel management, including group flights, hotel accommodation and transfers
- Supplier and venue research and management
- Developing WIP meeting agendas, running WIP meetings and meeting minutes
- Budget management
- Invite & collateral design & print management
- Client and stakeholder management
- A minimum of 3-5 year’s work experience in corporate event management. Ideally within a Corporate Events Agency, Travel Management Company or a logistics/administration role
- You will be customer centric, and hospitality-focused
- Inquisitive mindset- with the ability to see the big picture and action tasks with a superior attention to detail
- You will be well-presented and punctual
- Flexibility regarding necessary work outside of office hours
- You will have strong verbal and written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Be team orientated and results driven. Happy to get in and get things done as required
- Good at problem-solving with the ability to multi-task and think/plan ahead of the client
- Experience in EventsAir and proficient with Microsoft suite
- Have experience building registration sites
- You will possess the resilience to handle a fast-paced working environment, be able to work autonomously and prioritise tasks, with a passion for excellence
- $75-85K plus super (dependent on experience)
