Our client is an innovative Event Management company with global connections, based in North Sydney. They provide creative event solutions and delivery of end-to-end brand experiences for their clients, locally and internationally.
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate experienced Event Manager to join the Event Operations Team, organising and executing a wide variety of event projects including business events, virtual meetings, product launches, high-end incentive programs, and exhibitions.
The role:
- Reporting to the Operations Director and Head of Events, this is a hands-on, client facing event logistics role.
- Lead a full-scale project management program to deliver breakout sessions, keynotes, social events, mobile app and registration
- Produce event timelines and event briefs and execute project deliverables to the existing timeline
- You will be working across both Virtual and Live event formats.
- You will own and manage budgets of up to $500K
- Develop and manage strong relationships with client leadership teams to ensure all event objectives are met
- Lead partner agencies and internal team members where appropriate to execute all communication activities (marketing materials, advertising, social media, internal communications, direct mail, marketing campaigns, etc.)
- Respond to event briefs with efficient, creative, and targeted event solutions.
- Manage, brief and source 3rd party suppliers and vendors as required
- Responsible for regular WIP meetings
- You will have a minimum 5 years of event logistics experience - ideally in an agency environment or from a busy conference hotel
- You will be familiar with registration, database management, and have good travel knowledge (have internal travel team)
- Have managed all aspects that incorporates a medium-sized event (up to 200 people)
- Excel in event logistics and event marketing strategies
- Knowledge on registration platforms and data management (EventsAir and Aventri)
- You have outstanding attention to detail
- An understanding of Event Production
- Have previously worked with budgets up to $500K
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- You will be a self-starter, able to take initiative as well as see through projects to completion- executing with excellence
- A team player determined to translate ideas into actions and seek concrete results.
